Conceptual Design

The building design deconstructs and reassembles the different programmatic functions in a way that facilitates the optimum workflow. Specifically, the design constitutes a programmatic assemblage which is reflected both volumetrically and synthetically in space. The public access areas (i.e waiting area e.t.c) are carefully located in the most visually integrated part of the building, while are elevated in front of the workshop area. The main workshop area constitutes an open-plan area which is characterised by maximum flexibility and adaptability to users’ needs. The flexible boundaries connect and disconnect the main workshop area with the adjacent exterior spaces. The interior aesthetics are perfectly aligned with the industrial aesthetics.

Workplace Design

The design proposal intended to embody spatially the core organisational values of the company. Thus, the workshop areas are completely separate from the public areas for customers for health and safety issues. At the same time, common spaces for staff are created adjacent to workshop areas so as to facilitate casual meeting of the staff during working hours.
